6: Nanson acceptance of Camp FieldWRO SRDE 13/1/54: WRDC Clerk to Parton P.C. Clerk, 17 May 1932- "Mr Nanson has now intimated that in the event of the Council purchasing this plot of land the Council must accept all liability for damage caused by mining subsidence." It is unlikely that Lord Lonsdale will give permission for building on the "Old Roman Camp Site", as "he is very much interested in the Association for the Preservation of Rural England".
